Art, Not Commentary

When you do street photography, it is inevitable that you will come across street art and graffiti quite regularly. Some of it really catches the eye. Sometimes it’s a strong and obvious message, others might be more purely decorative or subtly symbolic.

As with most art, the message is for the viewer to determine. So, rather than me post a long analysis of the potential meanings behind pieces that I see on my travels, I wanted to share some of the recent work I’ve seen. No commentary, just images, all monochrome, so you can decide what it means.
